Birthday surprises.. It was Yanyan’s and Irene’s birthday yesterday and their friends celebrated for them =) Yanyan’s celebration is the most exorbitant because her friends did really put in effort by informing the lecturer in the lesson about Yanyan’s birthday and then they went to i.HUB room to retrieve the cake in the fridge and brought it down to the lecture theatre. And best of all, the whole lecture theatre sang birthday song for her.. though she felt uneasy, I am sure she will always remember this birthday celebration in our school..

As for Irene’s birthday, we did it at the i.HUB room.. with the right people and it maybe small group but its something really good about because at least she get to celebrate on her birthday with us!!

Seeing their celebration ofcourse hits me back again, reflecting my previous celebrations(even this year), I only celebrated with someone and the impact is not like I would never forget, it has never been so special I guess.. A dinner, A gift.. that’s all I would say.. actually I would prefer surprises rather than a plain dinner and gift.. because it seems like that person didn’t put in effort to know about me and my needs.. Now that I see all these, I feel that friends can actually do this better job than anyone else..

I am so envious of their celebration, they’ve got surprises and good friends to plan their celebration! Is this the advantage of being single as well?
