Clubbing at Ministry of Sound (MOS)

I admit, I went to clubbing last night with Adeline, Xiaoye,Binglin, Bert and Sheldon.. it was my bad, I psychoed them. Wereached there 9pm and there was already a very long queue to theentrance.. if you’re going there please be there early..

It is a very nice place; what else can I say? Different genresof music that caters to different people under 1 roof with 2 levels; moreover if youhappen to get sick of a certain genre, you can move around to othergenres which is definitely worth you paying that entrance fee!

Perhapsyou would want to ask me about the different genres they have.. inbinglin and my laymen terms, there are 3 main genres: Giao Taw, Ah Chekand Gina.

Giao Taw is actually the r&b sectionwhereby theres a cage surronding the dance floor.. the floor is toosmall and crampy and alot of teenagers like r&b, the whole room istoo small too! Its the room whereby people have to enter/exit theMOS you know! The first room and last room whereby everyone must go through, how can the room be so small! And the songs there wasn’t up to my expection, its not a full-time r&b section.. with alot of hiphops which doesn’t suit me, but its still according to one’s preferences..

Then the Ah Chekis actually the area whereby they play 70-80s type of music and youwould probably see a few old-school dancers with theirtwist-dash-across-their-eyes and stuffs like that.. quite alot of late20s men and women in their office-like clothes, and this explains thename I given them..

The Gina.. its actuallyeuropean techno/trance music.. this kinda music is the most easy todance actually; just do hilarious hands and legs movement and you’lloutshine everyone. Actually I wanna define it as the noob section :x ..Anyway we stayed in here all the time because the dance floor wereeither very packed with very nice music of our type initially (think about the songs by Eminem or Beyonce).. then when we got very high, it became oldie-techno which becomes boring to us..

And ofcourse, the DJs there were great =).. they shown great knowledge in their job and they know how to control the songs accordingly to the audience..
