Just bought a new pair of LevelNine spectacles with transition lense from a neighbourhood store and it cost me a BIG bomb. And I bought it because I am totally obsessed with him:

Expelled from yet another private school for his blossoming, though illegal, entrepreneurial activities, wealthy teenager Charlie Bartlett (Yelchin) finds himself at regular High School. His smart, geeky appearance gets him a first day beating from the school bully so his overly medicated mother (Hope Davis) calls in the family psychiatrist to help him out. An opportunity not to be missed, Charlie sets himself up as the school agony aunt, dishing out advice and prescription drugs, courtesy of the family shrink, from the school rest rooms. His charm, charisma and access to medication soon starts to win him new friends as well as the attentions of the principals daughter, much to the annoyance of the Principal (Robert Downey Jr.) a man battling his own demons in this cool, edgy comedy.
And I watched Idiocracy as well during my office hours as part of a lesson. And there was an interesting quote which I believe should apply to most of us. ‘Either Lead, Follow or get out the way’. Im definitely a 100% follower. I haven been organising activities since I was secondary.. (let me count..) shit. I lost track of it. EH NO! I last organised a counter-strike competition during my Poly Year 2!

The interview went smoothly (although I was flabbergasted at some point of time by the questions they ask me) except for the unexpected IQ test of the year, try solve this:

GEES lor. I knew the army took away all my intelligience. I don’t know how to solve. I’ve got about 6 of that questions and the timelimit was 10mins. YOU TRY! I wanted to leave all the answers as Sunday because no one will lie. =P
Nevermind, I’ve already done my best and now its beyond my point of control already. To accept me anot is their decision, I will still have to move on. Worse come to worse, $IM I come.
And thanks to Yongda for accompanying me for lunch in NUS, I’ve got my first hand experience on their food there =)

But on a lighter note, I heard that I will be promoted again in June to Corporal First Class(I will be the first soldier to be promoted to this rank in my signal company!).
Something that most of us will loathe in life; to go through interview, pretending to be someone else when you’re not or get choked while thinking for answers messing around in your head or worse still, you wore the wrong attire and you’re completely not in sync with the topics the interviewer has projected.
Gees, I received a call yesterday from NUS:SOC (yes I was very excited!) and the clerk told me that I have been shortlisted for the course and that I have to go for an interview by a professor this Thursday immediately. I then asked her about the late information and she told me that the administration has delayed its processing and she only received the shortlisted students today. And she told me I had to prepare a 500word essay in conjuction for my application to the school, which made me got a shock of my life because I never had any 1 time written a personal essay about myself (except in friendster and I dont consider that a decent 1).
So I am officially on OFF today and tomorrow in preparation of my NUS interview and hopefully they would slice me the piece of cake and put it in my mouth and say ‘hey! congrats! you’re gona be 1 of us soon!’ and god knows. God bless!
