Countdown to 2010 by the bay

Bought a pair of tickets for the countdown to 2010 at Marina Bay (seriously I dont know why is it called the marina bay now when the existing marina bay is still 2 stations away from the Cityhall station although the existing Marina Bay is left with sands and heavy vehicles, a beautiful pier and the Marina Barrage.)
The countdown 2010 began at 8PM with exotic performances by local rock bands such as The Great Spy Experiment, EIC, Singapore Idol Finalists and Da Mouth (after 11pm when the show was LIVE on the tv). Mediacorp, broadcaster of the show had some technical faults when the show was LIVE, my god, very unprofessional all of a sudden. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the performance throughout (although I shouted a woman to sit down when she was trying to take photo of the stage with her DSLR then I was very unhappy, I paid to SIT, not to stand along with her in order for me to watch the performances, so I shouted to ask her to SIT DOWN. The people behind me, bet they know it was me, shouted ‘wah lau eh which fucker sia’. I dont really care. So what if ima fucker? People are like that, when you don’t tell them they’re wrong, they will assume they are right, then she will continue standing to take photos while blocking the others. Damn! I was so helpful in this scenerio already!)
The 8minute 30secs fireworks was really exhilarating, every spark and explosion caused a tremendous blowoff in the sky, exhibiting different colors and shapes making the audiences go ‘WOW’. As usual, people with camera, videoed the process while I try to take snapshops of the fireworks with my point-and-shoot.
Way to go Singapore!
